Despite initially saying she wanted to wait until 2013, the 30-year-old's now told friends she and William, 29, might start trying after they've finished the Jubilee tour this summer.
‘The fact that the entire nation expects her to have a baby is playing on her mind,' says a
Royal insider.
‘She wanted to wait until next year but she knows it may not happen overnight, so she's wondering whether to start trying earlier.'
It's no surprise that Kate feels time is ticking. Princess Diana gave birth to William in June 1982, just 11 months after marrying Prince Charles.
Diana was only 20 when she became a mum and Prince Harry was born just three years later in September 1984.
By the time Di was Kate's age, Wills was nine and Harry was six.
